You left me there,
Entirely unaware,
That I was the one
Holding the gun.
If I had found
That you were around,
I’d stop the trigger
Before the problem got bigger.
I thought I was tough,
But it wasn’t enough.
And I felt so free
As bullets consumed me.
I could’ve been saved
From the destruction I craved,
Had I known
I was not alone.
